So, I merged those two driving desires into the founding of Maranville Enterprises—The Venture Creation Corporation through which I began advising entrepreneurs about how to scale-up the Strategic IQ of their unicorn-bound ventures.

Here’s Why I Venture With Vision …
Born with eyesight, I had the DNA that would ultimately cause me to lose that eyesight. By the time I was seven years old, I was legally blind. And, into adulthood, I was totally blind. This loss of sight resulted in a traumatic fear of change. Realizing that one of the only true certainties in life is change, it was imperative for me to conquer that fear. Consequently, I embarked on a life-long study of change.
I now use these lessons about change to educate entrepreneurs and their unicorn-bound ventures on how to be adaptive and transformational.

I’ve always been fascinated by businesses and how they learn, adapt, and transform. It should, then, be no surprise that I earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration to enrich my expertise in those areas.
The fundamental question that has guided my research is “Why do some ventures succeed, while others fail?”
I answer this question by studying ventures through the lens of Organizational Learning.
My research and experience confirm that those ventures learning the most effectively and the fastest regarding their strategic issue are those that will gain and sustain competitive advantage.
